Employee Work Location Change
For companies with multiple locations, please use the instructions below to update their work location
1. Hire them first at the new location and set their EIN to the new location. All employee information is already in the system so once you enter their SSN on the first screen, all of it will sync (you should get a notification of this). If not, you can manually enter the employee information.
2. Once they are set up at the new location, go to the new location profile and click the “Switch Primary EIN” button. Choose their new location.
3. Terminate them at the old location.
4. Double check to make sure that they have all the required information in their profile.
Move Accrual Balance
You will manually add what their remaining balance was at the old location to their accrual balance at the new location:
Team > Accruals > Balances
Select the box next to the employee(s) you need to update
Click the ellipses “…” in the top right corner and select “ Change Remaining”
1. Add
2. Enter the number of hours they had remaining at the old location
3. Add a comment stating they switched locations, and the effective date of the switch
4. Save (balance will update immediately)
